FAASST Performance Driving School returns to Virginia International Raceway in 2009!
Virginia International Raceway humbly began in August, 1957, becoming one of the first permanent American road racing tracks. The high speed straights, challenging turns and dramatic elevation changes have been home to many SCCA events and to many Motorsports stars including Carroll Shelby and Carl Haas. Paul Newman once refered to VIR as “heaven on earth”.
VIR was improved and expanded in the late
90’s;
world-class racing returned to the venue in 2000. The track has now
been
widened and repaved; the breath taking scenery and the famous oak tree
turn
beckon you to drive and experience all that VIR has to offer. Won’t you
come
join us?
